Not shot by me, but i was there too and too lazy to take out my pathetic handphone camera.
Shot on handphone camera and made somewhat epic by lightroom

Anyways, for people who have moved, seriously, go back to visit the place where you used to live.

I love yishun. The feel of where i used to life is great. It has a feeling of life, 活力, compared to sembawang where i live now. Walking back there really brings back all the memories, its true that seeing old things triggers memories. Despite seeing all the changes in the neighbourhood, like the mass deforstation of yishun park, in essence, the feel of the place is still the same.

Shall return there with a decent camera one day, Jai.

Wow, just found out it was shot at exposure compensation -1, then i ending up pushing the picture up by 3 stops and using an ND grad for the sky…

A blog post for the first time…

This was one of the first shots in my life that i was happy with when i first starting photog. It was my 3rd event and also my first time shooting a concert and this was the nicest photo i got on that day. In retrospect this isn’t exactly a epic photo, the background mildly distracting, the top part of head cropped off, the camera settings weird. F/8 for portrait. However, what i like is the expression that N. Leong is showing here. On a personal note, I dunno why all go mad already. Yesterday, Feng, Lum, Bao, J. Gan and I went back to ICC camp for a bit, saw Mrs. Lim Yock Tong coincidentally at swimming camp, and also met all the ICC people. Seeing the new S1s being so excited brings back memories. The sec 1s we were teaching when we were sec 4 are nor already sec 3 and have earned their long pants! After dinner we went to the RJ darkroom to kope guitars to RI and went to the RI field to “watch stars”… and play guitar. Madness lar, 5 years since first stepping into RI as a rafflesian, and only 1 year left before leaving the school. Its really like what a few people around me have said, its not the school location itself that you will miss, but the feel, the lifestyle, and the people around you who make your experience what it truly is.
